Accessing ABG Servers

ABG servers may be accessible from the computer on which a serer is running, via a local network, the World Wide Web, or via a Google+™ social network Hangout.

Accessing ABG Servers from the Server

If using a Microsoft Windows operating system, choose Start | All Programs | ABGames | Connect to Local ABG. The introduction page appears in a browser window.
If using another operating system, open a browser. In the address field, enter the following:

http://localhost:8080/client.php

Press the Enter key. The introduction page appears.

Accessing ABG Servers via a Local Network

Before accessing an ABG server via a local network, determine the IP (Internet Protocol) address of the local server.

Open a browser.
In the address field, enter the following:

http://ipaddressoflocalserver:8080/client.php
Where "ipaddressoflcoalserver" is the IP address of the local server. For example, if the IP address of the local server is 192.168.1.1, enter http://192.168.1.1:8080/client.php

Press the Enter key. The introduction page appears.

Accessing ABG Servers via the World Wide Web

Use the address provided by the server administrator.
